World of Warcraft legend Chris Metzen returns to Azeroth after seven-year absence

Chris Metzen, former senior VP of story and franchise improvement at Blizzard has returned to the corporate after a seven-year hiatus.

Metzen introduced in 2016 that after nearly 23 years at Blizzard, he can be retiring on the age of 42. It appears retirement is not all it is cracked as much as be.

Blizzard introduced Metzen's return at the moment on X (previously often known as Twitter), stating his position is that of government inventive director of the Warcraft universe.

Presently crafting the “subsequent era of adventures” for World of Warcraft, Metzen will take the stage at BlizzCon 2023 in November to debate what the staff is engaged on.
