Participate in The Machines Arena Open Beta
The open beta for The Machines Arena starts on April 23rd. This event introduces new updates, introduces robotic allies called Familiars, and offers a chance to take part in an upcoming play-to-airdrop event!
Progress continues on The Machines Arena, leading us into the open beta phase. This free-to-play, unrestricted open beta for The Machines Arena starts on April 23rd and is available to everyone.
In addition to playing in a web browser, gamers can now also engage on Android devices. The Machines Arena can be accessed via Epic Games or downloaded for Android from the official website. Player profiles are synchronized across both platforms, allowing all users to compete in identical arenas.
The team behind Machines Arena intends to launch a play-to-airdrop initiative later in the open beta phase, though specific details are still forthcoming. Players can look forward to leaderboards that offer rewards for gameplay, achieving specific objectives within the game, and participating in community events. Additionally, the developers are planning numerous updates, such as new skins, maps, mintable collectibles, and more!
Moreover, the open beta introduces familiars into the game, which are companions that provide various stat enhancements during gameplay. Additionally, players have the opportunity to obtain a complimentary set of three familiars for a limited period while the beta is open. These familiars are solely digital in-game items. However, there will also be purchasable familiars available in the in-game shop that can be converted into NFTs. To ensure fairness in Ranked PvP matches, all familiars will offer the same percentage boost to every player.
Players who participated in the early alpha or beta versions and received unique skins can now mint these on the Ronin network. Skins for The Machines Arena are available for purchase and sale on the Mavis marketplace.
What is The Machines Arena?
The Machines Arena is a fast-moving, intense multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game viewed from above, where two teams of four compete across different game modes. Players use an array of weaponry, including firearms, laser beams, and flamethrowers, in battles that generally span 5-10 minutes. The game features a selection of ten distinct characters, each equipped with unique abilities, advantages, and disadvantages. These characters are categorized into roles such as tank, support, and assault. Collaboration with team members is key to achieving victory.
The Machines Arena was initially not designed to be a blockchain game. However, following their initial beta launch, they decided to broaden their scope. Thanks to a collaboration with Sky Mavis, The Machines Arena now enables players to create, purchase, and trade character skins on the Ronin network.
The game is currently in its initial stages of creation, yet it already offers a highly playable experience.
