Exciting News for Gods Unchained Enthusiasts
Attention all collectors and gamers! Gods Unchained has just revealed their latest expansion, Dread Awakening, set to debut on April 22nd! This addition will broaden the range of cards in this fantasy trading card game, introducing potent new abilities and seven distinct Mythic variants!
The upcoming release of the Dread Awakening card set in Gods Unchained is just around the corner! This collection will feature 132 fresh cards, with thirteen of them being legendary, and introduces two novel gameplay mechanics — Dreadtouched and Elderytch Mystery!
Dreadtouched powers are triggered by offering up one of your own creatures. This, combined with Afterlife abilities, appears to be a great combination! We're still waiting for a detailed explanation of Elderytch Mystery, but it looks like it might be a card that can be enhanced? More details are likely to be shared by the Gods Unchained team shortly.
Dead Awakening will feature Mythic versions, which are unique iterations of legendary cards distinguished by their exclusive artwork! This set will contain a total of seven such cards. After these seven are located, players will have the opportunity to find three special Promo cards within the premium packs. These premium packs must be bought, as packs obtained through promotions or as rewards, known as Reward packs, do not include these Promo cards.
In Dread Awakening, a total of 18 cards – comprising six rare, six epic, and six legendary – can be obtained solely through crafting. Introduced recently in Gods Unchained, crafting involves the players giving up a designated set of cards in exchange for creating new ones. The availability of crafting these new cards is always restricted; it is associated with particular sets and ceases once the sales period for those sets concludes.
Dread Awakening introduces modifications to the crafting of Legendary items. Now, Epic cards involved in the crafting process will be reduced to Meteorite Shine quality. Although it appears that the original cards are consumed in the process, crafters will receive new versions of these Epic cards with a Meteorite finish.
