Participate in The Machines Arena Open Beta
The open beta for The Machines Arena kicks off on April 23rd. This event introduces game enhancements, introduces new robotic allies called Familiars, and offers a chance to be part of an upcoming play-to-airdrop event!
Progress continues on The Machines Arena, leading us to the launch of the open beta. This open beta version of The Machines Arena is accessible at no cost, available to everyone, and starts on April 23rd.
In addition to accessing the game via web browsers, users can now engage in gameplay on Android devices as well. The Machines Arena can be obtained through Epic Games or by downloading it for Android from the official website. Player profiles are synchronized across both platforms, ensuring that all players can compete in the same environments.
The team behind Machines Arena intends to launch a play-to-airdrop initiative during the open beta phase, though specifics have yet to be released. Participants can look forward to leaderboards offering prizes for gameplay, achieving specific objectives within the game, and participating in community events. Additionally, they plan to roll out numerous updates featuring new skins, maps, mintable collectibles, and more.
Moreover, the open beta will introduce familiars into the game, which are allies that provide various stat enhancements throughout a match. Additionally, for a short period during the open beta, players will have the opportunity to obtain a complimentary set of three familiars. These will only exist as in-game assets. However, there will be familiars available for purchase in the game's store that can be converted into NFTs. To ensure fairness in Ranked PvP, all familiars will offer an identical percentage boost to every player.
Players who participated in the alpha or beta versions and acquired exclusive skins can now mint these on the Ronin network. Skins for The Machines Arena are available for purchase and sale on the Mavis marketplace.
What is The Machines Arena?
The Machines Arena is a fast-moving, intense, top-down MOBA game where two teams, each consisting of four players, compete in different game modes. Players use a range of weapons including firearms, lasers, and flamethrowers to battle in matches that generally last between 5 and 10 minutes. The game features ten unique characters, each equipped with their own set of abilities, advantages, and disadvantages. These characters are categorized into tank, support, and assault roles. Collaboration with team members is essential for victory.
The Machines Arena initially wasn't designed to be a blockchain-based game. However, following their initial beta launch, they broadened their scope. With a collaboration with Sky Mavis, The Machines Arena has now incorporated features that enable players to create, purchase, and trade character skins using the Ronin network.
The game is currently in its initial stages of creation, yet it already offers a highly playable experience.
